Activities

The Association aims to promote scientific, educational, and cultural initiatives that advance knowledge, continuing education, recognition of achievement, and better healthcare. Through this work, it seeks to carry forward the excellence, humanism, and dedication that defined Dr. Pedro S. Pinto’s life and career.

Among its first initiatives, the Association plans to support the Congresso Português de Radiologia, in partnership with the Sociedade Portuguesa de Radiologia (SPR), through a session titled “Pedro S. Pinto—Excellence in Radiology,” led by an internationally renowned guest. The session is intended to provide a forum for reflection, knowledge sharing, and inspiration, advancing professional and scientific excellence in Portuguese radiology.

Reflecting Dr. Pedro S. Pinto’s academic roots, the Association has also established a partnership with the Escola Secundária de Gondomar. As part of this collaboration, an annual award will be presented to two outstanding students, recognizing not only their academic achievement but also qualities such as dedication, intellectual curiosity, a capacity for learning, initiative, and the determination to overcome challenges.
